I just moved to a city that has no public transportation, I need to get a car, but since I'm only 17-with zero credit. How much do you think a decent "down payment is" and how can you get a car with zero credit score? Please let me know.

Thanks a ton

Thanks for the advice guys, since I'll be 17 on the 8th. I'll just wait until I turn 18-and I've saved $3500 over the summer. Til than I can always have mom&dad take me around town. Thanks again, and happy new year!!!

At 17 you can’t legally enter into a contract. You will need a parent or guardian to purchase the car for you. Their credit score will determine the financing.

You can’t even pay cash for a car!

Most states allow you to enter into a contract at 18. Check your State laws and save your money.

try J.D Byrider if you have any of their car lots around you, thats what they specialize in, being able to get you a vehicle if you don't have credit or bad credit.
