Mine is 79. Is that good?

Mine is 145. They say that IQ scores do not change, but I have a hard time thinking that is true.

Remember only a train person can give you a IQ test. The test takes several days. It is not some IQ test you find on the Internet. Most people test between 80 and 110. So don't feel bad you are normal. If it is a valid IQ test.
Where did you get a score of 79 from? If it was from some site on the Internet it is not valid. And don't listen to these people up her who say their is 140 or 150 they don't know what they are talking about.
We use to take IQ test in Prison, for students that were studying physiology, and it would take hours and hours and go on for more than a day. A IQ test is not 20 question on a website.

Yours is probably higher than 79. Most people who use Yahoo Answers probably have an IQ socre higher than 79. However, an IQ score is just that - a score. Much more important than the score is what you do with it.

zoralink3 is probably the only person here telling the truth. I serious doubt if the rest of you have IQ's above 120. My niece is a physicists and she gives the only true test IQ test, she tells me most people have around 100 to 110. Genius on most scales is above 140. I don't think any GENIUS is hanging around Yahoo Answers.

It depends upon the scale. It's different on different tests. Mine is 156 on the Stanford-Binet, and 36, I think, on the Weschler. Contact Mensa in your area if you want to take another test. That's the so-called high-IQ society of people who score in the top 2%.

mine is 141, 79 would mean you have learning disabilities, IQ is not based on how much "book knowledge" you have but te information you store and ow you use it.

You must be very young.
Mine is 138...a little better than average.
Don't get hung up on it...it is only one determinent of intelligence. Nothing compares to having good old fashioned common sense.
