I forgot to pull out dinner this afternoon so now i need to zap it but dont usually use microwave to defrost it has a defrost button but i dunno lol kinda dumb right now i guess. thanks for any help.

ok i already said it had a defrost button and i was being dumb i mean how many minutes on defrost i havent used it before and dont still have directions i hope u choke on your damn 2 points when u tell me microwaves have defrost buttons!!!!!!!!

Well most microwaves have a defrost button them. It usually asks how many pounds you have. Enter it and push start.

I use the speed defrost button for like 1 1/2 minutes and then check you can also use cold water to slowly defrost

It depends on the size of the piece of chicken and the power level of your defrost. My microwave defrosts a pound of meat (fairly thin piece) in about 4 minutes. Put it in for a couple of minutes at a time and keep checking it and moving/flipping it around so you don't get cooked bits (gross).

i never thaw anything in the microwave i always put frozen meat in my fridge overnight its not safe to leave meat out either
