I have really sensitive skin, even Proactiv makes my skin itch and turn really red. What can I do about my acne?

I have the same problem so I have to alternate everyday, IE. day 1 a harsher product that includes toner and benzyl peroxide lotion day 2 use a plain Nutragena bar soap. It takes about 21 days for your skin to adjust to any regime, but if your too dry take a day off.

I was about to suggest Proactive, but saw that you have already used it. If you are really having trouble, best see your doctor about it. If you really have a bad case of acne, the doctor could prescribe you Acutane. It's really strong stuff but has some side effects such as drying you out.

My best advice to you...is to go and see a dermatologist. Acne can leave scars that will last a lifetime. A dermatologist can identify exactly what kind of acne you have, then give you the prescriptions to treat and heal it. Think about it. Best of luck to you.

Try Clean and Clear. I have sensitive skin. It works well on me.

See your GP who can prescribe Retin A for you. This really works. If it is too strong, you can get a milder form, because it can make your skin peel somwhat. It's also the only cream which can reverse ageing.
