not the stuffin that goes in the turkey

Box of MrsCubbons stuffing mix.. I think thats the name. 2 cans of chicken broth. Sautee celery and white onion very fine. Add all together. Mix. Put in oven for 2 hours or until still. I promise you its the best.

It's a little late but for next season

2 loaves white bread cut into croutons discard the crusts
2 onions diced
4 pcs celery diced
1 package bacon chopped
1 cup sundried cranberries left whole
1/2 cup walnuts (optional) chopped
1tsp grd.thyme dry 3tsp fresh chopped
1tsp grd.sage dry 3tsp fresh chopped
1tsp grd. rosemary 3tsp fresh chopped
1tsp kosher salt
1tsp pepper
30ml olive oil or veg oil
Cook the bacon and keep the fat
saute all the veg. toss in spices with veg. let cool after cooked.

In a large bowl combine everything toss in cranberries and nuts if you prefer add bacon fat for flavor mix until combined if to dry add some water or stock until you get what your looking for
place in a casserole dish and cook for 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees F. Enjoy if you need to make more just double the recipe.

This should make enough stuffing for 6-10 people depending on appetites

Moist & Savory Stuffing

Ingredients:


1 3/4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth (regular, Natural Goodness™ or Certified Organic)
Generous dash ground black pepper
1 stalk celery, coarsely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 small onion, coarsely chopped (about 1/4 cup)
4 cups Pepperidge Farm® Herb Seasoned Stuffing



Directions:



1. Heat broth, pepper, celery and onion in 2-qt. saucepan over high heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 min. or until vegetables are tender.

2. Add stuffing and stir lightly to coat.

TIP: Savory Stuffing with Cranberries and Pecans: Stir 1/2 cup each dried cranberries and chopped pecans into stuffing mixture.

Sausage & Mushroom Stuffing: Add 1 cup sliced mushrooms to vegetables while cooking. Stir 1/2 pound cooked and crumbled pork sausage into stuffing mixture.

Southwestern Cornbread Dressing


Ingredients:
5 cups cornbread, coarsely crumbled

4 English muffins, coarsely crumbled

3 mild green chilies, roasted, peeled, seeded and chopped

1 red bell pepper, roasted, peeled, seeded and chopped

3/4 cup pine nuts, toasted

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1-1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil

1-1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme

1-1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano

1 pound Italian turkey sausage

3 cups chopped celery

1 cup chopped onion

2 to 4 tablespoons turkey broth or water
Preparation:

In large bowl combine cornbread, muffins, chilies, red pepper, pine nuts, cilantro, parsley, basil, thyme and oregano; set aside.

In large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté turkey sausage, celery and onion 8 to 10 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.

Combine turkey sausage mixture with cornbread mixture. Add broth or water if mixture is too dry; set aside.
