A good question, I'm afraid I can't answer it, but I can add another question.
Why do athiests constantly strive to put down and find faults in religions (and why is it mostly christianity?) they say they do not have a religion, yet they make it into a religion by spreading their dark thoughts about others and forcing it upon others

I'd rather not have herders and holy books tell theists what I think. The Bible says I am a corrupt fool who can do no good in Psalms 14:1, which is an obvious lie. Herders say that I am immoral and just disbelieve for a ticket to sin freely..more lies. People like you say that I spew venom. I am here for many reasons, but not least of which is to show hate filled theists like yourself that I care just as much about or more about humanity than theists do. I don't have horns or believe in Satan and that I do have sound philosophical reasons for not believing.

No, your chum is right, Atheism isn't a faith. a faith is a concept in some variety of better power no be counted if one or many, in a non secular existence that inhabits your actual being. Atheism is a thought that there is not any bigger power, that there is not any religious existence. they seem to be a collection that's in assessment to those who've non secular ideals no be counted if defined or no longer.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

Atheism is not the absence of spirituality or religion.
Atheism is a religious view. A religious view is any worldview that dictates one or more religious opinions. Atheists have many different opinions about many different religious issues. One of which, is the existence of one or more deities. Some believe that there is definitely no deity in existence, others simply have an absence of belief in any given deity, but do not actively commit to the belief that there are none in existence.
The existence of deities is not the only religious issue. Atheists may or may not believe in an afterlife, ghosts, souls, magick, etc. All these things are still religious and/or spiritual in nature, and atheists have just as much right to talk about them as anyone else who may or may not believe in them.
So long as someone has an opinion about something religious or spiritual in nature, regardless of what that opinion is, they have just as much a right to talk about that opinion as anyone else with an opinion about it has.

Usually to counter the venom spewed out by people such as you.
Atheists not only do not believe in a god but also do not generally believe in ad hominem attacks.

I didnt seek your question under religion or spirituality. Absence of religion does not mean absence of spirituality. My spirituality extends to the natural instead of the supernatural. And no, spiritualtiy doas not have to have anything to do with "spirit" as in ghosts and angels etc.

I am on this discussion board because my kids are away for a week and I finally get to use the computer. Later, I have partying to do, so don't assume that I have no friends or family. This board is for topics relevant to spirituality and religion, and it is not for believers only. All beliefs, including non-belief, are welcome here.

Yet again, let me state, this is NOT a religion and spiritually "discussion board". This is a site to get answers. This category doesn't belong to believers alone. The heading only means that your question be about religion or spirituality.
EDIT:
Atheists do no more "forcing" than any religion. And to say that Atheists thoughts are "dark" is ridiculous. You act as if Atheists are devil worshipers. They have their "truths", just as you do. Let them have theirs, and you have yours.

number 1: this isn't a 'discussion board'; number 2: we have to start somewhere in discrediting your outlandish fairy tales. after all, by way of your votes, you people have been shoving your tripe down an entire nation's throat for years. some people have had enough, and WILL be heard.
