I'm not talking about what happen thousands of years ago, or what someone did even just a few years ago. Today! I read nothing in the Bible that teaches hate, only love. As a Christian I hate no one, I don't teach hate. You have the right to do as you want, as long as you live in peace with those around you. So why do so many hate people for trying to live good, and teach their children to live a good life?

They don't hate, they are deceived and just like Jesus was tempted they are trying to make you loose faith and slip.

Be thankful to God for your salvation, pray for them and continue to do what you are.

Its not a bad thing but as the end nears . . . . it will not be a popular thing!

God Bless

I'm with Naughty by Nature on this one--I don't hate the beliefs of any group, only the actions. For example, on this board, I'm as annoyed with the Atheists as I am with the Christians, because neither group seems content to believe what they do, but must use their beliefs to color all the other discussions ("Want to know about Tarot? Well it's the work of the devil/it's all superstitious garbage!" -- the slash is between the standard Christian/Atheist response, neither of which answers the question asked). I hate it when at the Dallas City Council, the Christian Eagle Forum pickets in an attempt to stop a Wiccan priest from giving the opening prayer (the council was in the habit of alternating its religious leaders, and it was the Wiccans' turn). Any group that's willing to believe what they believe, and not intrude on mine in any way more than having nice, logical debates (when invited), is a group I admire. Any group that insults me by assuming I want to be lectured to, I dislike--because of the behavior, not the belief. Frankly, I think the Holy Bible is great--particularly the NT, as the OT is pretty violent. Please do go on believing it. But just as I don't have anything against the quiet, kind Christians, please don't lump everyone who doesn't believe in the Bible into the same group either. Thanks!

Sir ,there is nothing bad .It is you because you still know what is hate .You still compare this and that ,good and bad, right and wrong.Remember that if anyone do bad on you ,it is you that is still not good enough for him not to hurt you and that is also a nature cause ,we call karma.Open our mind we do not only live in the Bible world .Face the facts that we live in this world of mixed.Understand what the Bible meant and not the word of the Bible. We always make mistakes when we try to explain the meaning in our own way.May God Bless You and enlighten you and A Happy New Year.

I'm happy that you live your life that way.. but are you serious??

Christianity does NOT have that effect on the majority of its believers.. just look at how they behave on here.. if they are the only bible some people will ever read, can you honestly say they are showing the teachings of love and not hate??

I think what people hate about the whole Christian thing is the fact that along with trying to live a good life and teach their children to do the same, that so many of them also attempt to legislate the teaching of their religion to people who are not Christian and have no desire to be.
I don't hate Christians. I do hate that some people are trying to force Christianity upon me and my family.
Peace

No, its not bad to believe in the bible. It teaches love and peace to all. And God does not call for war in his name. People made mistakes in the past, now, and will in the future. But not just Christians, non-religious and ppl of all faiths alike. We all have the same roots. Nobody is perfect.

I so agree with you... I can only assume that's human nature, the inability to accept, understand, care and live in peace.

Only when you try to shove your beliefs down my throat while telling me that my beliefs are garbage and that I'm going to hell.

Other than that, no, go believe whatever you want.

It may be tough here to live according to Scripture, but the 'retirement' benefits are out of this world.
