Would it be a feasable goal to lose 30 pounds in 6 months? That would be 5 pounds a month.

Very practical!! You could easily obtain that goal by cutting out junk food, white flour/sugar/starches/, sugary drinks, bakery goods, fatty snacks, fatty meats and whole-fat dairy foods. Add fruits, veggies and whole grains to your diet.

Add weight lifting a couple times a week, walking/jogging/aerobic exercizes on alternate days, and you'll drop that weight in your time frame.

Good luck!!

It is very feasable with a good diet and excersise of course. I'm not even saying that you gotta be crazy and train like you are gonna be a iron man/woman.

A low calorie diet is definately best, I personally used a low cal. and lower carb diet approach. I couldn't totally commit myself to the low carb life style so I just alternated my typical carb meals. If I would normally had a sandwich at lunch, I just had a salad with meat instead. and maybe the next day I had a sandwich or just something else all together. (You get the point)

I don't know what your goal body shape is. One of the things to be careful with losing weight rapidly is sagging skin and stretch marks. I lost 47lbs in about 8 months. I am a big guy and am pretty muscular. So for me I just wanted to tone up and tighten while losing weight. I suggest using resistance bands. The will tone and build muscle (not a lot though).

Also, some cardio and some weight training will do you wonders. Muscle burns fat long after you finish working out and it increases your metabolism. Plus you will fill the empty space (where fat use to be) with solid, lean muscle mass. Which looks great.

So, basically 30lbs in 6 months is very practical. A little discipline and patiance and you will hit your mark.

Good luck and stay healthy.

I lost 20 pounds in 6 months on the South Beach diet, but I cheated a lot. I lost 13 pounds the first two weeks, then 1/2 to 1 pound a week after that.

Yes that is a reasonable goal. The experts say that if you are losing weight in a healthy way you should lose about 1-2 lbs a week which equals out to about 5-10 lbs a month.

I have been working really hard to get a lean body. I go to the gym every day, watch what I eat, but still could not get the body I wanted. That was until I found this body cleansing stuff. I was able to get the great body I wanted in 9 days. I did a 9 day cleanse and lost 15 pounds and 17 inches, 3 inches from my waist! I had been working so hard for over a year to get this, and this program gave me what I wanted in 9 days. I found out that many body builders use this to get ready for competitions because the protein in the shakes builds muscle and the cleanse helps to get rid of the toxins stored in the fat cells. When the toxins are removed, the fat cells shrink and you definitely can tell in the way your clothes fit! I recommend this product for anyone wanting to get a better looking body quickly. I found out about it at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647. It is not a cheap program, but it is worth it! You can also get it at this website

That actually sounds like a very reasonable, and safe goal you have set. Most people set goals that are much too high when it comes to weight loss.

The safest and best way to keep weight off is to lose it effectively, meaning 2-3 lbs a week.

Good Luck!
