TAKE IT BACK....if they say tiz genuine..and pc says not..someone is telling porkies....and all copies of windows have registration numbers..so....you ain't got an original...
they can try to put it on one of their pcs...it will do same thing...but that is if they are being stroppy...surely the old...."the customer is ALWAYS right " still stands....you want a refund/replacement..and I would advise asking for a note..saying why you have asked for exchange..if that's what you go for ...cos some places..will not replace a replacement.

You need to get in touch with Dixons and get them to exchange it

maybe the people from where u got the pc said it was the genine verison but it wasnt, so they scammed u
