Or did God immidiately order all the "monsters" dead?

And also, how did we escape from the millions of carnivorous creatures if we indeed 'coexisted' with the dinosaurs? How did any mammal survive? Talk about a leap of faith.....

before sin entered the world there was no death, which means that there were no predators. Lions and sheep co-existed and so did dinos and humans. Hard to believe now, since we live in a post-sin world, but the world before sin was a perfect paradise. Fruit and plants was all the food the animals and humans needed. After sin entered, so did suffering and death. The animals' teeth became sharp and the earth corrupted, thorns grew on roses, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc. occur now.

I understand your question quite clearly. I believe part of the reason is the common statement people say against the Noah story. "How did he fit ALL the animals in the ark" The fact that many animals today are gone could mean exactly that Noah was NOT able to take all the species in the ark. That would include the bird dinosaurs, afaik, birds are not capable of flying 24/7 for a whole 1 month. It's not like they could all find Noah's ark and stand on top of it either, and I don't think Noah would give them food if it is rationed enough to just feed the animals already in the ark, they may have also been used as food for other animals, the same for other aquatic animals, they may have fished for food and thus the only food they had to have instock are vegetable hay etc. The aquatic concept is interesting that you said that cause I was thinking about that for a while now. Did you know that there are places underwater that we haven't explored yet? Many sea creatures live there that we haven't even discovered yet. Also only recently have the sea scientists found many things thought to be extinct, theres also the giant squid 150 ft long that they haven't even thought could exist. OK other reasons. -Food Shortage. Climate change- temperature etc. Salt vs Seawater etc. I believe that those creatures may have actually survived but died out later on. Such large creatures would require large amounts of food. There will be great competition and only a few would survive. One factor you didn't include is the concept that back then, there were probably seas but not oceans. Think about how much would change in your theory if you put that into account. The concept of the creationist's view on this topic is that back then there were more land on the surface and most of the water we have on the oceans back then were under the soil, until the time came when the Bible said "the fountain of the deep broke open" I believe it speaks of the ocean ridges (you can see giant cracks on the earth underwater. anyway, the food scarcity in this new huge ocean would have been problem for lage animals and they would have to compete with the whales. I believe the whales got lucky.

Some Christians such as myself believe that the earth is old, and that the Genesis creation "days" were long periods of time. The Hebrew word yom translated in Genesis as "day", can also mean an indefinite period of time as in Genesis 2:4. The Hebrew words for "morning" and "evening" can also mean "beginning" and "completion". There are other reasons to believe that the Genesis creation days were long periods of time also. This means that the dinosaurs existed long before God created Adam and Eve. I think that the dinosaurs went extinct because of a huge meteorite that hit the earth and the debris in the atmosphere blocked out the sun. www.reasons.org

Satan and the fallen angels lived with the dinosaurs.God packed the earth in ice. (Demons cannot get through ice). The dinosaurs were vegetarians. Did you hear about the new dinosaur discovered that weighed 48 tons? In Job it talks of a "behemoth" that had a tail like a cedar tree and grazed on the mountaintops. Peace out.

So who said they're ALL dead? Sure, most of them have been killed off (do you think EVERY knight and dragon story was make believe?)
If you just wanted to start an arguement or discussion, you can stop reading now. If you're really interested in what happened to the dinosaurs, and how old the earth is, you've got to check out these videos you can download for FREE.

There is no mention of dinasaurs from the time of Adam. The Bible dose speak of great sea monsters and such in the early part of Genesis though. There were surely Dinosaurs at one time because we have evidence of their bones today. If it were not for that time period in history we would have no fossil fuels like oil and methane gases. God surely had a purpose in mine for those creatures. we can not think for a monent that we can come close to think the thoughts of God. If wicked man were removed from this planet,it would cleanse itself back to a beautiful planet!

Dinosaurs didn't exist alongside humans.

The current theory is that the dinosaurs were wiped out by a comet or an asteroid hitting the Earth at the end of the Cretaceous period. They think they found the impact crater in Mexico.

We're talking about thousands of years here. We did not coexist with the dinosaurs, the timelines are completely different.

Study some paleontology, and maybe some archaeology, as well as the Theory of Evolution, before you address others (who have studied those things) as though they were stupid.

WOW...jane j you are truly enlightened. You imply that there were no mammals around with the dinosaurs (false).

You really should get an education before you attempt to be sardonic because otherwise ya just make yourself look foolish.

Before the Fall, there was no carnivory. After the Fall, we don't know how many dinosaurs there were; they might have been few enough in number that humans only came in contact with them relatively rarely.

The global Flood in Noah's day would have created severe climate changes, and many species of dinosaur probably died out then. There is no biblical evidence to suggest there was any supernatural act of God specifically to kill off the dinos.

There were no such things as dinosaurs. They are not even part of the evolution theory so how could they be if evolution is fact...
