1. Enforce the laws on the books and start prosecuting the businesses that hire them STARTING with the largest and working our way down making sure to publicize it as much as possible.

2. Dry up all the incentives like free schooling (American kids of illegal parents have to pay some kind of fee), free health care for citizens ONLY (Not saying don't treat a dying or severely ill patient but once their well send them home), welfare (or any and ALL family aid) restricted to citizens ONLY. Rent or sell property to citizens and legal aliens ONLY.

3. More military and border patrol on the boarder.

These will GREATLY reduce the problem to near nothing. No need to deport everyone. Most will leave themselves.

First we need several layers of defense along our borders. A wall is good, but how about a few electrified fences and remote motion detector devices, and some independent web cams and more support for coast guard, customs and border agents. It is not a war against illegl immigration although that is a small part of this operation, but securing our borders is a defense against terrorism and crime, specifically, drug trafficing and deterence from WMD's entering the United States. What there is no evidence of WMD's in the black market?...Think again. We need to get it done yesterday, no wait like five years ago or in all reality ten years ago, it should have already been done!

Second, we need to coordinate a better and more efficient system to process legal immigrants quicker and less expensive. This is still America the land of the free and we should open up to the poor and needy...for those of you who oppose this remember your ancestry were immigrants here too! The Irish and the Italians mainly in the 19th century, as for me it was Portuguese and the French. It's a shame to your ancestors that you would refuse immigrants safe passage to the land of America.

Our primary problem is that the big biz people who are buying our government away from us, want the illegals here for cheap wages, less lawsuits and more folks buying their goodies.

To change that you are going to have to change the way AMericans elect their reps. NO money from anyone but your tax paid rep dollars. NO conflict of interests. None. Or you are out.
That done, we need to figure out how to stop the large Biz from lying to us on TV and radio etc. about what they are really doing.
We live in a very corupt world here in the US.
Here's a good esample. B Boxer is sending notes out to let us all know theres big crime in the Ag biz. The big crime is very highly likely because of illegal immigrants. Her particualr approach on illegals is that she has done nothing to stop it basically. But she wants the US tax dollar, to help her help her big buck Rancher friends to get better protection on their ranches agains crime.

Enforcing the laws on the books would take care of the problem. No jobs, no welfare, they go home.

Get some people in office who will stop fighting about whose party is better and stand together for America like we all elected them to do!

With the possible exception of the southern border states and ethnic boroughs (like Chinatown), quit printing signs, menus, etc. in spanish and other languages. Dont offer people the option of choosing a language at the atm, point of sale machines and electronic phone menus. When we visit other countries we have to adapt...they can do the same!!

I don't actually think this 'border wall' they are building will help. They will just tear it down and cross anyway. We should, in my opinion, set a time and date known only to the government officials, and start rounding them up and taking them back where they came from. Then we should make it a federal offense if you are caught in this country illegally and provide NO assistance whatsoever to illegals.
