Toothpaste will dry it out. Toothpaste can be good for pimples where you want to dry out the skin, but I wouldn't use it on a scab.

Try zinc putting zinc ointment on it (you can get it from the pharmacy) it's really good for scabs, and red marks.

I don't know about toothpaste, but I can tell you about scabs. There the best bandage that is available....even better than a band aid. You should let it fall off on its own. If you keep picking at the scab, and keep removing it, it'll eventually become a scar. Best of luck to you.

My daughter uses salty water on a cotton pad soaked with it. Dissolve one tablespoon salt in half a glass of water 70-80 ml

go to the drug store and buy some neosporin ointment,that will heal anr scabs ;bites and any cuts,, it;s good and not much money.it;s 3.00 a tube.
