The whole idea of the rupture I find a little perplexing. I will have to check out what the Bible says, but even the Bible is open to interpretation.

I typed in rupture on the internet and hit SEARCH and didn't get much. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side my wife and I have bought an RV and we stay away from tall buildings.

I know you're a troll and dont really want a true answer but for all the people claiming the Rapture has no biblical foundation I will post the passage it derives from 1 Thess 4:16-18 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

Rapture is another word for "caught up". Being caught up is DEFINITELY a Biblical teaching. WHEN however is debatable.

It all depends on which context you're viewing a "rapture" in. As far as I am concerned (and based on my knowledge of Scripture) a pre-tribulational rapture is unbiblical. I see no Biblical evidence for it.

However, if by "rapture" you mean a "catching away" as in a future resurrection (physically)...then, yes. There is Biblical warrant for such a thing. There will be a physical resurrection wherein the dead in Christ will rise first from their graves & those who are alive will be caught up to meet Christ in the air.

This occurs at the last day, however. Not seven years before - as is taught by the pre-tribulational rapture theory.

Just my thoughts.

Its not 'rupture' , but 'rapture'.

.The 'rapture ' of the Church occurs simultaneously with Christ's second Coming in glory and the resurrection of the dead.............All occur together,(see I Thess. 5:15-17); ..."AFTER the Tribulation of those days"(Matt. 24:29-31)
"...At the LAST trumpet"... I Corin. 15:52

Don't be deceived by the fictional "Left Behind" series....which is based on a common misconception that claims the 'rapture' occurs years before Christ's Return. This is not found in Scripture.

your best bet is to read the Bible and pray that God will give you an understanding. you can look it up but if you look up more then just one view you will find many. some believe we will be raptured before tribulation. others during and others after and some not at all. i believe we will be before the tribulation however i am ready either way. dont want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed. i do believe it is coming soon just cause of so many things coming true. like implants in the right hand or forehead. a guy claiming to be a reincarnation of Jesus and doing miracles. just not in Jesus name. he lives in london and his name is maitreya. and the chips are called RFID or VERA chips and there are a couple more names. other healings like aids are being completely healed in Jesus name and same with cancer. just a lot

instead of waiting on a rupture, you can avoid it by keeping your automobiles tires properly inflated. NOW if you are talking about the RAPTURE when the LORD JESUS CHRIST returns to gather his people you may try reading REVELATIONS the end times of the KING JAMES HOLY BIBLE. I hope you find the correct answer to this question from the BIBLE.

Read the whole book of Revelation -- If you want to just hear a little part of it read Revelation Chapter 18 Through 22 and you should get the general picture.

Staying away from tall buildings isn't going to do you much good.
This time when you reread the bible, pray for Jesus that He cleanse you of all that is evil so that you may have knowledge of your Father. His kingdom awaits you.

Try typing in 'rapture' instead of 'rupture.' Don't believe everything you read however. Try reading Revelation.

The rapture is not biblical. Really read the bible and study it and you will soon learn that the one taken, is in deed the one destroyed. It's there, in the bible.
