If we believe that God is both benevolent and omnipotent, don't we also have to believe that he is incredibly lazy? I mean, otherwise, every evil in the world would be wiped out.

Yes he's lazy, but not as lazy as he is stupid.

He's just a rubbish god. This universe was his final year project at college, but he only scored B- for it because of all the flaws and errors he should have avoided at the planning stage. His examiners' report read, "Yahweh has attempted an impressively ambitious project but he has demonstrated serious shortcomings in its execution. I suspect a lot or rushing to get it all finished before the deadline, and it seems to exist with no very obvious purpose. We liked the rings around Saturn, though, and the duck-billed platypus." He's now working as a middle manager in accounts in a celestial rubber-band factory.

God allows evil because of free will. He is not lazy and it would take no effort at all to wipe all evil out. A blink of the eye is all it would take.

Cause he is disgusted. He regretted having created the human race, and ever since then he hasn't felt like doing much.
Around the time of the prophet Malachi he went on extended leave, and he was heard to mutter "You're on your own perverts!" Malachi says he was thinking about smiting the earth with a curse.

Then came the New Testament and its all-loving God, what's that all about? Likely it's all a farce. And a whole race of snivelling humans hasn't a clue.

Look, He has to let pain and evil move throughout the world as part of His plan. You do not know why His plan involves pain but, I assure you that He does. I suggest that you read the bible, it will tell you that God allows Satan to rule the earth. You need to overcome Satan in this world, that way you can ask God when you get to heaven.

You are right, every evil in the world will be wiped out. Your sentence was accurate just wrong tense.

Lazy?
No its his perfect timing.

FYI
He has waited so you would hear the news and on judgment not be able to say . . . . but I didn't know!

To me that isn't laziness but ingenious . . . .let everyone know and make their own choice. . . . . wow democracy at its best!!

God bless

Often the mind of the person making such a statement is rather sluggish and perceives God in the same way.

He cannot be omnipotent and omniscient and be a good and loving god, that is what forces people to Deism for the most part.

Everything He does is for a reason. We can not judge His actions. He is not here to just pave the road and make everything easy for us. Humans make the decisions that cause evil.

God is not lazy, this is because everything that happen around us has its own meaning. Whether to tell us something, or to advice us, it is up for us to understand ourselves.
