You can but you don't get much juice out of it. Won't break the juicer but over time it will clog the blade making it hard to clean and juice in the future. You can make soup out of the leftovers or carrot cake or stick it in the compost heap.

Depending on what you cook at home there are a couple of possibilities... I use the left over lime, lemon, orange pulp ( basically any citric fruit) pulp to make relishes and chutneys..blend them with cranberry to make relish or the Indian mint-cilantro chutney. It not only increases the fiber content but also adds a crunch to most chutneys and relishes. For various vegetables left overs (after juicer is done), such as zucchini, cucumbers, carrots etc.. try making mix vegetable fritters. Not too healthy as fritters require batter and are fried, but they do taste incredible. I use the Indian recipes...Mix vegis with chopped onions and various spices, dip in batter and fry ..also called "pakodas". For both the above, you have to juice fruits and vegis separately to eliminate the bitterness. Last you can always add the peels and pits, and stuff they you do not use to your compost bin.
