Like so many people have said, i put my trust in the knowledge that He will never leave me. Perhaps it helps to listen to the Barlow Girl song, "never alone". Anyway, i just wanted to point out that Mother Theresa couldn't feel or felt distant from God for almost her whole life, but she had faith and she trusted that God was there. Look how holy she became and how many amazing things she did. She brought God to others!

i pray, and confess those feelings to the Father and thank Him for the promises in scripture, that He will NEVER leave or forsake me. That He sticks closer than a brother. We must always remember that just because we feel distant from God does not mean that God is distant from us.

Stay faithful. G-d is not moved by emotions, & His Word says He will NEVER leave you...whether you feel Him or not.
As you stop focusing on how you feel, but on Him; your dry season will end. I went through a 13-year wilderness.

Keep moving on with the faith that peace with oneself will return eventually, even if it must be after one's own death

I try to be alone and talk to HIm. Sometimes daily activities get in the way with my walk with God.
