Well, it's a very sickening thing to hear, me being a proud owner of a spunky Pacific Parrotlet and loyal Green Cheek Conure. Who's eating the head? A person? I wouldn't recommend it, especially if the bird is wild. Shame on you if it is an exotic bird like a cockatiel or macaw. Why would someone do something like that? These African Greys and Cockatoo's live 70-90 years and they are very smart!

The answer is simple, you can eat just about anything.
If you were starving then you would be prepared to stretch the range of things you would be prepared to eat.
Prisoners in the second world war ate bugs while in solitary to keep themselves alive, nobody really knows what extremes a human will go to to survive unless it is ourselves in that situation.
If you were at sea without a drink, would you drink your own urine? Of course you would if it meant you would die.
There have been times where a normal rational man has become a canibal to survive, i'm sure the head of a bird would be much more palatable.
The bottom line is, just about anything is edible.

yes, indeed in some of the oriental countries chicken's head is a delicacy as is chicken's feet. there's no point in it though as there's no meat on it just skin and the brains.

In respect of the human body you can eat anything you like. Whether the human body is capable of digestin it is a different matter. The only thing that may cause a problem is the bones. Crush them up with your teeth real good and it wont hurt too much when it comes out the other end.... if you know what I mean.
