IT is hard to say for sure if we are living in the end times, but if we are not I think it could be very very soon. Look at the news going on , politically, in the weather, morally, look at crime, look at how people are caring less about God and falling away, look at natural disasters. All these things the bible spoke of. Mind you, this is the book that does not have errors in its prophecy. The only ones that have not come true, are the ones whose time has not come yet. The rest have happened to the tiniest detail! There is no book, records, or prophets that have a better track record that this one. It seems it is playing out just the way the bible said. We are to be alert, wise, and ready. Out of love, we are to continue to try and help others see the truth, so they won't be left behind.

I don't believe we're living in the end of days, because I don't believe the Biblical (or Mayan) end of days. In many ways, things are far better now than they've ever been--signifciantly longer life spans, significantly fewer child deaths and women dying in childbirth, significantly better pain management. We've got pretty good programs for helping out the poor--at least in our own countries--and while there's a great deal of work to be done, it's better than I think it's ever been... notice the incredible outpouring of assistance after last year's Tsunami! And despite cynical perspectives bred by an "if it bleeds it leads" media and a terror-pushing government, we are generally kind people... notice that all the final phone calls made from planes and the Towers, on 9/11, were messages of love, not hate, and all the outpouring of aid and sympathy from other countries after that. Things aren't that bad. BTW, "Liberal" isn't a religion--there are liberal Christians, liberal Jews, etc. The opposite of liberal would be Conservative :-)

We're all going to die some day, so we're all living in our own personal end time. When this gets generalised to a worldview people feel that the world is coming to an end.
