living in new york city, the bronx, and feel very isolated,is there anyone to talk with, or should i move away again, and maybe to another country,the culture here and nationality who populate this area are not my cup of tea a place called woodlawn, frankly i feel trapped, and i know it is not me, any suggestions or help would be appreciated

I don't understand how someone could live in New York and feel isolated? There are millions of people all around you. You ought to try the state of Wyoming there's not even a million people in the whole state. You need to get out and start meeting people.

I was born in the Bronx.

Bronx was the toast of the town, once.

All my relatives are buried in Woodlawn Cemetary.

I can't even find time to get up there, traffic and expensive tolls prevent me from traveling back to my roots when I want to.

I left the Bronx in the early 1970's, and then left New York City in 1984.

Then one day, I turn the T.V. on and I see the Twin Towers falling down.

So, I thank my lucky stars I gave up the Big Apple.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FAMILY THAT YOU COULD CALL AND TALK TO? WHEN I FIRST MOVED AWAY IT WAS TERRIBLE. DOMEHOW WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK I WOULD CLOSE MY DOOR AND THINK I COULD BE ANYWHERE IN MY MIND MY FAMILY HELPED ALOT. BELIEVE ME I WOULD HAVE KILLED FOR NYC I GOT STUCK IN DERRY PA OH MY GOODNESS THEIR WERE PLENTY OF COWS TO TALK TO. I KNOW HOW YOUR FEELING BELIEVE ME, JUST GIVE IT A LITTLE TIME~
