Gupe: I'm not a builder but a I do know many who are. Most use illegals when they have no choice 90% of the time. There are too many Americans who bid their work, people like you and me, who encourage these builders to do the work for less, so WE pay less. It's kinda a joke around my neighbor hood as to who is using illegals. and what to do about it. Strange days.

But, my experience shows me in my area, no AMericans are around that can or will do the work ...they have all been put out of biz by the illegals. What is a biz owner to do here in order to feed his family. Realize, for ever righteous patriot, there are 10 crumb bums stealing from the rest of us by hiring these people.

My husband is an attorney. A percentage of his business comes from ILLEGALS who victimize innocent people...he helps legal Americans piece their lives together after illegals steal their ID's.
We are adamately opposed to illegals...they are the most expensive cheap labor this country ever got "hoodoood" into.
Illegals are destroying our financial infrastructure....do your homework, Juan....

Employers who say that they can't find Americans willing to do the work are either 1. not trying hard enough 2. too cheap to pay Americans what they are worth in education and experience or 3. making excuses to justify why are a scumbag and you are a part of the problem...

If you were that good you could mark yourself as the guy who doesn't hire illegals. I've noticed some builders commanding more money because the customer feels more at ease with americans. This is where the big money is going to be with the tightening of controls. A building company? Well you know as well as I they don't take their work to heart.

The employer should be jailed. Plenty of people would do the work. I had a friend who was out of work and the guy would only hire illegals for construction. Nice. Give a break to an illegal over an American. Creep should be shot.

Instead of trying to line his own pockets he should pay a wage that American workers will accept to do the work. That's how the market works. Instead of paying what Americans will accept he's going to an impoverished nation and paying less to people who are desperate enough to accept the pennies on the dollar that Americans need and thus undercutting legal Americans and making himself richer. He should be fined heavily and jailed.

Hiring illegal aliens is only making the problem bigger. I think it's sick that someone wouldn't hire a guy because he WASN'T illegal. I'd be taking that fella to court.

I would pay the wages needed to hire legit workers to do the work. It is NOT that US workers will not do the work. It IS that us firms refuse to pay what US workers want.
And the ONLY reason the firms refuse to pay good wages is GREED!!
