For my 18th birthday I am getting either my belly button pierced or a small tattoo. Which would you suggest? I want both, but I think I'll get one and then the other later. Answers from people with both would be best, but anyone can answer. Please, however, don't tell me it's a stupid idea and they're permanent and all that. I already know, please don't lecture me. I just don't know which to get first. Thank you!

They've been in for years, plus its sexy to wear you can change up looks, glittery navel rings, or plain ones.. you can switch up. Aint that something. I love my belly ring and Im 21 now... I decided to hold off on the tattoo.. its so permenant yet cute. I hate when people call em tramp stamps, ugh.. you get what you want where you want, plus they whole lower back tattoo thing used to be ssoooo sexy to men and women, now they call em tramp stamps.. stfu.. lol. No but hold off on the tattoo not because its bad a permanant but cause let some years.. or a year pass, and enjoy the belly ring you'll love it sweetie. OoOoH IM GETTING MY TATTOO THIS YEAR. 21 Now and Im positive I want it on my pelvic bone.. so sexy. Be you girl. Happy 18TH Birthday.. your grown!

I just got an inner wrist tattoo. It hurt a LOT especially where the wrist bends, but the rest wasn't that bad. It mostly burned and was annoying! I have never gotten my belly button pierced so I don't know how it will compare, but I hope this helps a little

Didn't belly button piercing go out of style like two years ago? Get a small tattoo, but not a "tramp stamp", make sure it is of something that has meaning to you and something that you will never regret getting on your body...because of course...tattoos are permanent.

I would get the bellybutton piercing.only. think about this: when you're 60, what you got on you're back or wherever you get your tattoo you obviiously think is cool now, but42 years from now..it could be something that is rejected by everyone, or you might not like it anymore. with a bellybutton piercing you can take it out & you don't have to worry about it. but if you really want a tattoo off you have to have laser surgery..which is way expensive. also tattoos are way more painful to have done. my cousin has both, & she said it hurt to get it done.really bad.

i'm a guy, and both are very sexy on girls. if you get a tattoo, they are sexiest on the lower back, and of something small and cute like a butterfly or paw print. nothing big and ugly like a dragon or something. and belly rings are pretty much the hottest thing a girl can get. even hotter than implants. theres just something about a girl with a belly button ring that makes that sexier than a girl without one. and the longer they dangle and hang down, the sexier

well i had my belly button twice and both times it got infected. so i gave up. it is the hardest piercing to take care of but its all up to you i would probably say tattoo but if you want try out the piercing first and then go for tattoo
