Great question. Your right, if God knows all, and is all powerful wouldn't he see it coming? The answer is: I have no idea. Nobody does. But i do know this. God has an ultimate plan, so that every knee shall bow and every heart confess that Jesus Christ is lord. If he is lord and ruler of the universe, than he knew satin was corrupt and let it happen for a reason. Maybe to let people like us ponder that thought and bringing us ever closer to the Truth.

Even perfect creatures are capable to sin (hit the mark, in their case, obedience). Because they have the capacity to choose...they are not like robots who are programmed to do what they should. Free will, yes, angels and man are freewill agents and can, if one so desires, exercise his choice of action in an indiscriminate way. If all men were to do so, however, only a state of anarchy would result.

Satan challenged God's sovereignty...he knows that he has all the power but he attcked his right to rule...because he was enticed by the desire to rule over man and be worshipped by them...he took along 3rd of the angels as well as many people so thay can be destryoed too...he doesnt want to be alone to ceast in existing...

Rev 12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

There is a verse in the Bible that states God made us a little less than the angels translated into english but the original text states we were made more than the angels. This, and the fact we were given dominion over the earth, which satan coveted, p***ed him off. His pride, vanity, is what got him banished, ironically it also got him control of earth though Jesus has taken it from him.

They wanted to be as God. Satan wanted all the glory and worship. And if Satan had of won, where do you think he would of stayed? But Satan got cast down from the heavens, not by his choice, he didn't leave of his will, but instead got cast out.

Because Satan wanted to BE God and he deceived the others into going along with him. He wanted to be worshipped.

God gave us all are own will. People (and apparently) angels/satan are sometimes ungrateful and selfish. Haven't you seen kids who have everything but still turn out "bad" because of choices they make?

Envy; hate; fear; foolishness; evilness; sin; ignorance; stupidity; badness. God and Heaven are perfect. Satan isn't it. Pretty straightforward if you ask me...

Because at some point after Allah created Adam, He told to His angels to bow down to him, but Satan did not do so out of arrogance and pride; he thought why should a being from something as great as fire to bow down to something created from clay. So he disobeyed Allah, and Allah condemned for doing so, therefore Satan promised that he will deceive and mislead Adam and his offspring till the end of time...

[004:119] "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by God." Whoever, forsaking God, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.

[002:034] And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblees (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah).

[007:011] And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being), then We told the angels, "Prostrate to Adam", and they prostrated, except Iblees (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrate.
