Im 19. Out of all the years on this planet, I have done nothing. Fear still kind of restrains me, even though I've gotten over a good amount of my fears. The only thing I've done is graduate High School. I feel like I'm restraining myself. I feel like if that restraint wasn't there, I would be capable of greatness. I have dreams that taunt and tease me. They tell me that I'm meant to do and see as much as possible. That I'm supposed to see as much of the world as possible, before my years are up. I want danger. I want exotic love. I want stories that can be told over and over and over again. I want experience. I want an experience that can't be matched or rivaled, because it's mine. I want to see the world. What should I do? And How should I do it?

Well go.
Many famous people, with no prospects for money, took a journey which turned into one or more stories. Are you a writer of sorts or a novelist? It sounds like you have the desire. My question is do you have the interest and compassion to get close to yourself and to other people?

Get a passport. Get a job on a cruise ship or merchant ship. Take Greyhound, take Amtrak, use the thumb God gave you! Sneak across the river from the U.S. into Mexico and find a job there! In other words do something different.

Work any job you can find and make your jobs part of your journey. Don't travel looking for work or become a part of the political and social agendas of those in power.

Check out the lives of famous writers with an eye to their physical journey. Do not get caught up in reporting events.

If you are going to get caught up in the human experience you must be free to move. And move you must -- At some point you must step away from a desk top and go mobile. Go, go soon, go now.

First of all, we often sign off that life is a journey, and you should embrace and enjoy it. I think we all need to remember that. Secondly you have to think about what it is you want.... here's a tool that's helped us with our website: http://chooseit.sitesell.com/mousetours.html

If it's travel that you want, start small and explore areas close to where you live. Maybe you could even set up a website about the area you live in.... show others what it has to offer. We like to think of the whole world as our home, and here's what we've used to write about it: http://buildit.sitesell.com/mousetours.html You could too!

We think every little corner of the world has great possibilities for travel.... so start local then slowly expand your travel area... you just have to decide what interests you and make sure you'll be safe, then go for it. We try to convince people of this all the time: http://www.mousetourstravels.com/custom-tour.html and http://www.mousetourstravels.com/custom-tour-planning-list.html

Like I said before....Happy travels... even if you don't travel the world... just remember that life is a journey... embrace and enjoy it!
