It depends on the type of wine, red or white. White wine will usually last a day or two if recorked and stored in the fridge.
However, wine that tastes a little sour, is still fine to use in cooking.

You should not buy the larger bottles as wine will keep in the fridge only one to two days.

Red win can be used for cooking even if it has been opened longer. Put the red wine in roasts, stews, chili and spaghetti sauces

i dont know ive opened a bottle of scuppernog wine about 3 months ago kept it in a dark cabinet in a decanter and its still good....in fact ive gotten a glass as we speak, and its at roon temp with the taste of lightness with the aftertaste of the grape as it hits the back of the throat....ummmnnnnnnn thank you for the question
