Don't worry no one will catch up with you. As for if you have a CCJ and you can't move to another country, thats nonsense. The only further bit of advice is go and get a loan of at least 10k before you move so you have a good start and don't default on the 4k loan until you have left. The banks are modern day robbers so take a little back.. Enjoy your new life..

I've done this, except I kept in touch with them, offering them 25% as a final settlement, they accepted this. Whether they can find you? I've heard of people that have been contacted in other countries by creditors in their previous country, I'm not sure how much they can do though. I'd imagine it's easier for creditors between countries that have close economic ties, a lot of people here in the UK take out big loans and then disappear to retire in Spain, I think doing this is a bit dicey though, especially since Spain and UK are both EU members. When I took off I went to South America, so my creditor had no chance.

I've just moved into a house recently and the previous owners between them have at LEAST £120,000 worth of debt. They were getting letters sent to our house threatening baliffs and removal guys to come and take their belongings.... we've been here since Feb this year and never had anyone turn up, just letters stating that this is 'their last chance'...... Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about £4,000, there are so many people in debt and ways to get help with debt.
Try and sort your debt out and live a long and happy life!!

Yes they can and will track you down.
It is better if you contact them first explaining the move and arrange a suitable payment plan. Most places are willing to oblige as long as you contact them first and have everything in writing........ copied twice!! As long as you keep up the re-payments you should be able to move countries and have peace of mind.

You may not be able to actually move country if you have a CCJ against your name, so it is wise to look into it all before raising your hopes.

Good luck

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/TayIk

Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.

The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.

Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.

if its only £4,000 i would let them know where you are moving too then settle when you are financially able to start repaying the debt. There is not much they can do so dont worry too much...after all there are people who owe 100 times more than you and dont care about it... happy life in new country to you and your family

No they wont bother to try and find you outside the UK,but they will give you a default on your credit file if you don't keep it up to date,so it may effect you obtaining future credit

Depends on the country you're going to. It will take time, but they will probably find you in the end.
