Does any one have any suggestions on how to get the smaell out, it is in the carpet and I can't afford new carpet

Nature's Miracle - and a carpet shampooer. I bought one when we got our last dog and it's totally paid for itself.

Regular carpet cleaner should get the smell out. If you didnt soak up the pee in the carpet when it happened then that might be your main problem. There are specific cleaners you can buy at stores (ie. Walmart) that will get the smell out and they work very good. Good luck!

pet stores and even places like walmart sell things that get rid of urine smell in carpets. if it is still stinking up your whole house though, the dog may need to see a dr. especially if the dog does not usually do this. the dog may have a bladder infection.

The bad thing with using any of the carpet cleaners is that they too leave their chemicals behind. The best thing to clean puppy pee is HOT WATER and a DISHTOWEL.

to get the smell out they sell things at wal mart or petstores for that. to get your dog to stop peeing in the house they have sprays at walmart or a petstore that when you spray the area the dog will not want to pee there. so spray your carpet and furniture to keep them for doing it.

my dogs used to do that if i didnt get home from work in time, oxyclean and water, it gets the stain and smell out of the carpet.

try spraying a de-odorizer on it or steam cleaning the spot with a carpet cleaner.

There are several products on the market that will eliminate the smell with bio-microbes. Go to your friendly neighborhood pet store and they will be glad to show you.

I have heard of a product but have not tried it myself but others swear by it. It's called ODORXIT. It's supposed to be safe around animals. Read about it ar www.odorxit.com.
