My boyfriend got a text message on his phone, i was walking toward him and he turned so I couldn't see. What would you think? I got suspicious, as would any girl. Ladies what do you think?

This was about a week ago, he knew I was upset about it. I told him I felt he was hiding something from me and he got defensive that he's not ready to open up to me. But, he never reassured me that it was nothing, he more got upset that I questioned him.
We are broken up, for many other reasons. Guess I got my answer.

ask him about it and see what his reaction is. you should be able to tell if it is something you should be concerned about by the way he reacts.

I think the reason u broke up had more to do with trust and insecurity than just this text message...has he ever given u a reason not to trust him??
I leave out of the room whenever I get a call whether it is a family member, business, or whatever. I do not have anything to hide its just something that I do, kind of out of respect for others in the room.

communication is always the key to any relationship and looks like the two of you were not sending or recieving the right messages to each other and not able to communicate what it was that would have eased this situation.

I wish u the best of luck in your future relationships.

I think you're feeling insecure for other reasons beyond a text. I turn when I get text sometimes just because I have no idea what the text might say and my boyfriend doesn't need to know every little thing people say or text to me.

I am not a lady but from a man's point of view, he is hiding something or someone. And it is bad when he does it in front of you. You should ask him or borrow his phone and check the list of name that texted him and find out who texted him and when. And don't be surprised if he has gotten lots of text messeges from women. SO talk with him then kick him to the curb.

I think you have a trust issue. If you really think something is going on you should just confront him about it instead of stewing over it. Communication in a relationship is VERY important and if you can't just ask him about something like this, then your relationship is never going to last. Talk to him and find out why he turned away. It could very well have been something private that he isn't ready to tell you about yet. Talk to him!!!

Best wishes

that does not mean he is cheating it could be something special he has planned for you so you do not want to ruin that if he acts like that more often then definatly call him out on it but do it nicely do not blow up right away casually ask him

Not necessarily......but my advice to you is to watch his behavior. If he's cheating, things like that have a way of being found out. Best of luck to you.

i would think it was odd and frown before saying,"who was that" this is the kind of question his actions make you ask.unless you were in his light,,damn phones. worry when you check it and its gone,,then you can get busy on his a$$,,c,mon,,you are going to check tho arent you?
