Why don't all these atheists hurry up and pick a religion then?

I wouldnt suggest that a person hurry up and just pick a religion. Religion in itself wont get a person anywhere. Now if they hurried up and fell on their faces at the feet of our Lord and saviout then I would say go! Hurry! Jesus loves you dont wait.

Yes we do, but the government is not here to enforce religion, it is to guarantee religion the same protection that the rest of America has been given.

Let the godless be godless, but let them not trample on our rights of free speech and freedom of religion.

We have a real chorus of condemners because we believe.

"religion" can mean the belief of anything. including witchcraft or satanism.
in america, if there was such"religious freedom", then why can't the teachers pray with their classrooms at the start of the day?

Yes you can even believe in a rock if you choose, but what is the ENDING of that religion? yes in america we have freedom of religion and freedom from religion which means we can be religious or nonreligious such as atheists or agnostics such as myself

Freedom of religion also means freedom FROM religion.

Why do you care what other people believe anyways? Worry about your own life instead of sniffing around in others'.

We do, but some people have used that in court cases trying to take "Under God" out of the pledge (I call them 'Sumo Athiests')
