I make a wicked spinach dip with cream of leek soup instead of onion or veggie and leeks instead of green onion and I want to make it for a party tomorrow.
I've made it a million times, but always the day of...can it be made the day before or will the spinach lose color or some other disaster?

E. Coli and Botulism???? If those were in the dip wouldn't they be there regardless of the day before or the day of?

Yes, it will be just as good - if not better, and still have the color - of you are worried about the color - add a small amount of lemon juice to the dip - the citric acid will help preserve the dip

Your spinach dip will be fine if you make it the day before. It will probably be better, as it will have more time to develop flavor.

I think it would be alright as long as you, of course, keep it in the frig. I love spinach dip and I guess it is safe to eat spinach again. Party Hardy!

Yes! Make it the day before by all means! It's even better the next day, are you kidding?? Seriously, make it today and all the flavors will really come out.

Spinich dip is always in stores for days so I would assume from that you could make it the day before. Of course just refrigerate it.

yeah. the spinach will be fine. it's actually better if it's made the day before. it gives time for all the ingrediants to blend together for better flavor!!!

Surely you could make it the day before...it might even be better if you give the ingredients time to marinate overnight in the fridge.

It won't loose color, if your using frozen thawed spinach it's been blanched already and is color fast, which means if you're using fresh spinach you'll need to blanch and then you're good to go

Yes you can, just make sure it stays cold. The taste isn't as good though. I suggest making it the day it is to be served.
