my bestfriend went out with this guy. but they broke up. but she still likes him. when ever she comes over shes always talking about him. n she thinks that hes in love with him. i saw him like two or three weeks ago n he started hitting on me. n he asked me out. i said no because of my best friend. n he went to talk to her n now she wont talk to me!!!!!! HELP!!!!

aw this is a tough one alright!well friends are heaps more important than guys as you've proven by turning the guy down so honey you haven't exactly done anything wrong!your friend will soon realise this shes just not thinking straight at the min!why dont you try writing her a letter or sending her an email explaining your side of things as she is more likely to read this even if she isnt talking to you!!hope this helps and cheer up honey its not your fault!!xx

I guess it all depends on 2 things,, The first and most important , how good of a friend is she ?? If she is a best-friend as you say them you don't need help, just talk to her and tell her you already told him where you stand on your friendships . Now if she continues with this immature conduct, and you haven't done anything , then just wait until another guy comes along to sweep her off her feet , and if the guy your referring to is still around and would like to take you out , I would say go for it ... It would show him that you value your friends,, And you will be a much better person, when the whole thing is said and done ..

That was excellent of you to turn him down, it shows you care about her friends and her feelings. Unfortunately I don't think there's too much you can do. If she can't see that you can't help that he likes you, and that you said no because you really care about her, then it's a problem she's created. However, I bet she doesn't see it because she's so hurt, because the guy of her dreams doesn't like her. I would give her a few days, a week maximum to cool down, because you don't want to lose her as a friend. Then try and talk to her, even if she won't talk back, because she can still hear you at least. Tell her your sorry he doesn't like her, and that you said no because you care about her because you think she's a great friend, and that if she ever wants to talk to you that you're there for her, because right now that is all you can be! I've been in the EXACT same situation. Your friend probably isn't willing to listen to you talk right now, so do what I did... write a heartfelt and sincere letter explaining that you care so much more about her than any guy, you would do nothing to hurt her, and she's your best friend and means the world to you. Make sure you really mean everything you say in the letter and don't make it sound phony or generic. She will forgive you, I promise... a best friend is a best friend!

It sounds like this guy is a real jerk and your both better off without him!! If your friend wont talk to you write her a email or have a friend tell her what happend.

OK here's my guess of wut happened he didn't want your friend to know that he hit on you so he went and covered his *** and told her some bull **** that would make her mad at you so if all else failed he could go back to your friend who he knew still liked him
so wut you should do is blow it off because she should be asking you if this really happened and you guys are friends and she trusts some guy more than you her best friend and if she comes back crying to you well its up to you just remember friends are forever but guys come and go.

tell her what happened if she doesnt believe u tell her that ur friendship is too important 4 a boy 2 come inbetween & that u dont want him (even if u do ) and jus continue 2 b a good friend

write a sorry letter to your friend telling her what has really happened, n give her something she likes, like a box of chocolates or whatever with the letter. you could even mail her or sms her, whatever you think is right. say something like
dear _______,
im sorry about everything which has been going in our lives, but ________ met me the other day and started hitting on me, and there was nothing i could do. pleeasee forgive me, you're my bestest friend and i cannot live without you. trust me it wasnt my fault i dint do anything! please understand me :(
