I you send it over to me, I can probably run it through the extract filter on CS2.

pen tool maybe leave sharp edges for something such as frizzy hair.

Here is something you could try though.
press control+J on the PC Command+J on the MAC
to duplicate the layer.

Press Control+L or command+L to open levels.

Click the white eye dropper on the levels palette and then click the wall. I assume the wall if white.

This should start to turn the background white.

the problem is that it also will change the colors of the person and not just the wall.

if you create a mask of the edited layer then you can paint with black over the person on the mask exposing the layer beneath it which should still be untouched.

If you're still having trouble send it over and ill see what I can do. appleg5design@yahoo.com

If you do decide to send the file to me, make sure you update this web site stating that you did so because I don't check that email all that often.

You can also upload it online and just post the link here.

Good luck!

I recommand you to use Google Picasa to manage and edit your pictures.

Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized.

Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures ¨C you can email, print photos at home, make gift CDs, instantly share via Hello™, and even post pictures on your own blog.

free download in here, just have a try:
