It's because the Catholic Church has a requirement of abstinance for it's clergy. That naturally leads men who have strong, healthy labidos into some other line work, leaving those who have suppressed their sexual desire with the work of salvation. Unfortunately their suppression of their sexual desires often doesn't last, and instead comes out in various "other than normal" circumstances, and children's lives are altered forever.

Aren't the ministers and rabbis allowed to marry? Catholic priests aren't - maybe too much frustration.

what you say seems a bit predjudiced against the catholic church.
catholic priests are not able to get married. and that sadly causes a lot of propblems. like pedophilia. these priests have urges.
i think it's very wrong, but remember it's NOT the catholic churches fault. it's the individual priests. please don't blame the entire church.

Because the Catholic Church adopted the pagen practice of celibacy. It have perverted their clergy from the beginning. It is against the will of God to be fruitful and multiple.

There arn't. Your entire question is false.
If you go by statistics, there is a slightly higher incidence of Protestant pedophiles than Catholic ones. Jews are slightly lower. But the highest concentration of pedophiles are found in schools and secular organizations that work with children.

you also have to take in fact that the Catholic religion is larger than most, by % its probably the same, all religions have the molesters, some get caught most don't.
