Indirectly yes. The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints have something called "The Word Of Wisdom" which is essentially a health code as they believe in treating their bodies with respect. This "code" includes abstaining from drinking tea and coffee - which (though not directly mentioned), includes caffiene. Similarly many members of the church choose not to drink Coke for that very reason.

Mormons have rules against caffeine but in other religions no... generally as far as Christianity goes, moderation is key. Some people are horrible effected by caffeine, some are not. Those who it harms shouldnt injest it but if it doesnt make you sick or cause you to do anything bad then its ok.

I think SDA's are against it.
When I lived in Tacoma Park, MD & my wife put her head through the windshield of her car, we went to an SDA hospital. It was in the middle of the night & none of their snack machines had any caffeine in it. I was NOT the most pleasant person to deal with at that time!

As I understand it, the Mormons can not ingest Caffeine.
