how do I find the windows installer to see what has been changed and to change it back to normal.?

something is wrong with my windows installer, it says that some files are missing and when i go to install something it says the windows file cannot be found, if I can restore my windows installer maybe that will fix the problem, hopefully the problem will be fixed

Try running a windows update. USually people don't and there is usually a new installer they want to install on your system that will correct this issue.

Other than that, when this goes **** up, the only real way to fix it without tracing for hours is to wipe the computer and restart everything fresh which you probably need to do anyway considering it sounds like something occured critical to your OS that you had no idea nor any will for this to occur.
