Personality, generosity, ambitious, down to earth, stable, spontaneous, has an opinion, actually talks [not a mime], looks and decent income to either match mine or be better.

With decent income, it's more important if it's my chosen life partner cos I don't want to be the one having to hold things together financially.. if it was someone I was just seeing I wouldn't care too much just so as long as I don't have to pay for every date!

All in all, I want someone who's my equal or slightly better than me.. I can't stand someone weaker or more overpowering because i'd either get aggravatingly bored.. or end up fighting with someone who's always overpowering to bring them back down to earth.

Okay for me to answer this I will have to say this 1st:
I am no longer on the market, I am married to a wonderful guy, and he is nothing like the "type" of guy that I use to date or go out with, I married for love, honesty, respect, and of course security.
Now......I will say this much, when I was younger and dating the type of guy(s) I went for was like this, they had to have clean white teeth, yes I said good teeth, they had to have nice shoes on, the size really didn't matter(smile), they had to have a really nice smile, they had to be able to speak, I don't mean run lines because I could always see through that crap, I mean they had to have some sense, you know know something about the world they were living in, they had to be able to hold a conversation, have some type of goals, yeah that was what I was looking for, and if he looked good all the better. I didn't go for the geeks nor would I say I chased the "pretty boys" either because if the guy wanted to look better than me the female then, he may be too shallow for me.
Now days from talking to my daughter which is 21 yrs-old today
the females are all over the place, which means they are really not looking for husbands now days, just a good time, which is okay if that is what you are into, but I am really glad that I was born when I was because I would really be afraid to date now-a-days with all of the bad things going around and not only that, girls are checking out girls while boys are checking out boys, who knows what really going on now days with the younger groups, No offense tended.

No matter how many people like to argue over this one, the fact reamains that physical attractiveness is very important when you first meet a man. The most obvious being the right height (ideal for me would be atleast 6ft). Then I notice structure and weight. I also like to see a man who is dressed casual, but not like a total slob. I also look for sexy eyes, they say a lot about a person.

After the initial physical features, I start to notice things about thier personality. I love when a man can make me laugh and also when he thinks I'm funny. I look for a gentleman who opens doors and just has good manners in general.

I have looked all my life for the right man and now I finally have him He just needs to treat me the way he wants to be treated with kindness and love doing things that I love and I do the same thing I treat him with kindness I make him breakfast every morning and we share all the chores and we both work full time and we spend as much time together as we can we don't get enough of each other!!!!! and we sleep together every night we never ague and never fight we agree on every thing and love each other with are whole hurt I love him so much and he me that we can't even remember what it was like before we were together and never want to be apart again!!!! ever woman is going to answer this differ ant for me it was just love and kindness and (sex) every day a must!!!!

yes I agree with the second person there has to be chemistry, with out that you are not going any where but the funny thing is chemistry is different with every body for me It was there right from the start I just melted at his touch and 24 years later his kisses still make me melt!!!! it is like he makes love to me with his mouth just kissing me that is chemistry!

Intelligence-he has to be pretty smart. I also have to be able to have a political or intelligent conversation with him. I think shy guys are cute but only if they are more outgoing with me or people he knows. I like guys who are talented at something. Maybe guitar or singing or something like that. He has to be romantic and sweet. I know it's hard to find but i like mature guys. He also has to respect me and the fact im gonna stay a virgin til marriage.
