First, make sure to keep the wires out of reach. Thats the most important thing to do. Second, pick up some bitter apple spray from a pet store. Spray it on everything you don't want her chewing on. It tastes terrible and she'll learn really quick that wires taste bad and are no fun to chew on.

Im not sure what you can do with a kitten.. my puppy did the same thing, but I know how to train dogs.. I dont know how to train cats. The only thing I could suggest is to give her other things to chew on, and if she wont stop, you need to keep her in a safe place with no wires... unless you want a toasted kitty. My brother had a bunny that chewed through a wire and bunny was no more :( So you need to be careful...

Keep a water pistol nearby. If you see your kitten start nibbling, spray her with the water (obviously don't get the wires wet, aim for her bottom half!!). It won't hurt and she should learn that eating cable could get her wet!! Something I tried was to apply a small layer of anti nail bite stuff. You can get it in most chemists and it tastes foul! It won't damage the wire and it is removed with nail varnish remover. My cat hated the taste and never went near a wire after that!!

My wife and I have had some luck with using a spray bottle with water in it. After a while all you have to do is show them the bottle and they do that cute little squinting thing and stop. Then leave the bottle next to whatever it is that they're messing with and don't need to be. This will deter them. It is also best if you start early with them. Yer's is a kitten so you should get good results.

this is not good for the kitten to be biting through wires. Get her a cat nip toy, little kitty toys and keep the wires out of sight. If she happens to get a piece of wire down her throat and it lodges anywhere, it could kill it. Keep wires out of sight, toys will occupy the kitty.

I think the rubbing of the wire is soothing to the teeth, you could try something a little rough.. I gave mine a hard loofah and its always chewing on it... hope this helps

Hi! Kitties, like puppies, need things firm and chewy to chew on while teething. Please dont spank her bum or tap her nose!
Potatoes, YES! Potaoes, the small ones called New Potatoes might help! Buy 1, and see if she will play with it and chew it. Ive had cats who would!! crazy!!
Pet Cetera, Animal House, PetSmart...and other pet stores sell many teething toys for kitties.
You may need to hide your wires, if possible. Twist tie the wires up, if you can. Dont spray her with water when she chews them! *Water and electricity dont mix! * You CAN spray her with water for other things however. Like when she scratches the furniture, jumps on to the counter ect.

When our cat was small she bit right thru 2 phone wires, and 4 video game wires. We asked at the pet store they showed us this sour apple roll on stuff. It worked, and we just rub it on every couple of months.

if you go into a fleet farm store or something of that sort, you can find some spray that you spray around furniture, plants, stuff you dont want the kitten by, etc. just buy it and spray it where you dont want her to be!!!
