Yes!!! Everyone in my office has it. I have it and am told that it can take up to four weeks before the symptoms totally go away. I had chills, a fever, dizziness, and a very bad headache. And I had this for Christmas!!
The best thing that you can do is drink a lot of fluid, take cold meds to relieve the symptoms and get a lot of rest! What I have noticed about this bug is that you can get up and feel fine for the first 4 hours and then all of a sudden you feel like crud and feel like you are hacking up a lung.
You'll be fine. Just do not overexert yourself.

It sounds as though a lot of people in USA have got the bug. Here in the UK all my family have had it,some of them are getting over it but I have had for 2 full weeks now and no sign of it getting much better.

My daughter has had it for about five days. The doctor called her in some medication and she is a little better today. She has a sore throat and ears. Her and her husband left for Austin with some friends this morning to spend New Year's. I hope she gets better soon, and you too Sweetie.

Third day and it absolutely sucks! I was planning on snowmobiling this weekend and now my husband is out having a grand time and I'm stuck sitting around all day. I have been drinking fluids non-stop, constantly sanitizing things, I want to be done with it already! Day-Quil and Night-Quil are my soothers, any other suggestions?

You need tostart taking some Vitiman C, I take 1000 milligrams a day and I only got sick 1 time this year, and it was gone in 2 days. I hope you are feeling better!

My whole family had that, except me (I think I must have had it a while ago?) they are all left with a lingering cough. Hubby had his for over 10 days now. Terrible. But I got toothache to make up for it. tsk. Sudafed is pretty good, Olbas oil for breathing, lots of rest.

My husband and I had it all over Christmas not bad enough to knock us off our feet but it made us feel tired, it has left us with a bad cough but I think we are getting back to normal now.

it's a virus going around, not the flu........everyone is getting over it in 3/4 days, that's no flu.
