Dude, just be yourself, dress nice.. Don't be ultra nice oir anything like that. Just enjoy it man.

yeah dude a first date is simply a meeting more than anything. wear whatever your style is, jeans and t shirts or whatever but make sure its a nice pair of jeans and t shirt. you have to be yourself or if you go in a suit and next time go in a tracksuit she will think you are trying to be something you aren't. also take her somewhere fun like a fairground or bowling, avoid cinemas and restaurants. cinemas arent places where you can talk to each other and similarily restaurants, there is too much pressure to keep the conversation flowing. go for a happy medium, bowling allows you to chat but during the silences there will be something to be carrying on with so they won't be so noticeable. yes be polite, open doors etc but if you are the go crazy kind of guy then do that. being polite should come naturally just dont make a big point of it, just do it she will notice if only subconciously.

Be yourself. How polite and sensibel are you. I think the first date should be fun, and something you would like to share about yourself, and some time to talk. Perhaps, horse back riding, tennis, something you enjoy, or maybe a short class to learn something together!

A first date should be fun and something you both would enjoy! It doesnt have to be formal but you want to be polite and respect them, just like you would want to be treated basicly!
Just be yourself and remeber they are proubly just as nervous as you are!! Happy New Year!!

some girls think it's hot when a guy is a gentlemen, others gain a heck of a lot of respect for the guy, you can't really go wrong. but dont sweat it, be yourself, no need to be nervouse, talk to the gal and above all have fun. good luck dude

hell no! it's a chance to show here what you do for fun if you like to play pool take here there and be in your own environment.
then you'll comforable!...and confident!
where as if you went to a resturant you both would be uncomfortable...now at least you can take control.
DON'T take her the Cinema.... because you can't talk there....and if you do make sure you go for a drink or do something afterwards!!!!
