I love spicy food (NM green chile in particular) and my mouth and stomach are fine with it as well. However my other end is NOT. Is there some other food or over the counter medicine I could eat to balance out the spice and leave my body's exit feeling fine???

The spices are not digested or changed during their trip through the GI tract. The tissues of your mouth become damaged by continual exposure to spices. It takes more and more spices to get the same heat and taste in your mouth.

On a general basis, your anus does not receive that damage, and therefore is very sensitive to the sting of the spice when it exits.

Neither Zantac, Pepto Bismal, or any other medication will change the effect of the spice on raw tissue when exiting. If you use some high fiber food along with the spicy food, you may have some diluting of the spices in the stool, and therefore all of the spice may not touch sensitive skin on it's way out.

I suggest you try to eat less spice.

I feel your pain brother !! I have found that if I pop a couple of tums after a spicy meal it really helps with the "lava squirts" I know antiacids are supposed to neutralize acid and the heat from spicy foods comes oils (capsicum I think) but it really seems to work for me

I love hot sauces but you pay the next day. Ouch! My favorite story is to eat ice cream and when you are on the toliet, say "come on ice cream". Tucks Medicated Wipes work.

You didn't make yourself clear. If it's hard to crap then eat things with more fiber: watermelen, weat bread, ect. If it comes out to fast or explosive then eat things with more calisom and protien: cheese, milk, ect. Well. Hope you get better. I also LOVE spicy food, it runs in the family (my brother likes to eat jalopeNos whole).

Before you eat spicy food, take Beano.

Then you won't have to suffer later.
