I was reminded of a dedicated and courageous people. In the movie they said that you once were great. And so you were.Science , mathematics , architecture , medecine , astronomy , You were premier in the world. It seems that you allowed fundamentalism to cause serious regression to occur. Your Christian and Jewish brothers have moved ahead , please join us.

Yes.I did on channel 28.If you like moveis like that,I also suggest "Lion of the Dessert" Anthorney Quinn stars as Omar Mukhtaar.Really good movie.It is based on a true story.Also watch "The Message" Anthorney Quinn is also in it.The Jordanian director,Mustaffa akkad,just died resently also.My fave is Lion of the Dessert.You can order them online at a website called www.Islamicbookstore.com

P.S.Muslims have only become this way in the past 100 years.North Africa,and South west Asia became more and more Westernized ,Korrupt,and un-Islamic when:
Italy stepped for in Libya And Tunisia
France stepped foot in Algeria and Moracco
When England stepped foot in Egypt,and God knows how many other countries.
England also invaded India,and Pakistan
Arabs were thriving in Arabia for hundreds of years until Western Europe came along and critisized them about their way of life.I would most sertaintly live in Saudi Arabia,and have something good to be proud, of then live in the West,and have a history of invading other countries ,and critisizing everything about them
Lawrence of Arabia, reflects more Arabian culture, than Islam.But I still like the movie.My favorite characters are Dawud and his friend with the high piched voice:)

I agree with you, and yes I am a Muslim. For hundreds of years we were the leaders in science, mathematics, medicine, ect...

The problem is that today many Muslims have fallen off the true path of Islam. Many follow innovations and personal opinion. But this was all for told that there would be many sect but only one that was on the right path.

Also we are so divided it is not even funny. We can't even agree on witch day to start and end our holidays.

And yes this is our own faults. But like I said before this has all been for told. The good thing is that this will all end and we will become victorious in the end.

No, something called Western imperialism and the white man's ego came and was responsible for completely politicizing the Mid East. Do your history, man. Before the French and English tried cutting us up like a big juicy pie, the Ottoman empire had things relatively under control. The region was stable, at least, and not ruled and tugged at by charasmatic, manipulative zealots. (and that's the nicest thing to call them). US and their ambiguous intentions, not only recently but for decades, has certainly not helped one little bit.

yes , the muslims -when they practised Islam in the true way - taught the whole world the meaning of civilization ... at that time the eueropeans were in full ignorance , war and bloodshed .. but the muslims (true muslims) gave the world the fruit of their knowledge and they were the base of the current european civilization ...
