I am getting married on June 21, 2008. We are having a country wedding and we want to have our "main' songs to stay country (ceremony, preceremoney, first dance....) I have a few songs but I need more. I'm trying to find more current ones and ones that arent so popular.....(Tim and Faith......)

Thanks for your help in advanced!

Sounds like my dilema......check out Cross Canadian ragweed..they are GREAT and have a couple songs like constantly and a few others...you just have to check them out. Also check out Stoney Larue...

I cant give out my whole supply here though...then they would be mainstream...lol

Here's a list of some of my faves:

"From This Moment On" - Shania Twain
"God Blessed the Broken Road" - Rascal Flatts
"Crazy" - Patsy Cline
"I Do (Cherish You)" - Mark Will
"It's Your Love" - Tim McGraw
"How Forever Feels" - Kenny Chesney
"You're Still the One" - Shania Twain
"Carrying Your Love with Me" - George Strait
"Amazed" - Lonestar
"How Do I Live" - Trisha Yearwood
"I Could Not Ask for More" - Sara Evans
"I Will Always Love You" - Dolly Parton
"Cowboy Take Me Away" - Dixie Chicks
"Somebody Like You" - Keith Urban
"The Dance" - Garth Brooks
"This Kiss" - Faith Hill

Most of these artists have multiple love songs, but these were some of my most favorite - you may want to Google any of the artists for more options.

Have fun picking your music and congratulations on your marriage!

I love the Rainy Nights- Eddie Rabbit

Ronnie Milsap- Lost in the 50's tonight, Smokey Mountain Rain

Tanya Tucker- Strong Enough to Bend

Don Williams- I believe in you

Anne Murry- Can I have this dance ( urban cowboy)

Patsy Cline- Walking After Midnight

More recent----

I love the way you love me- John Michael Montgomery

My Wish- Rascal Flatts

Anything by George Striat

Hey! Country music! Right on! Ok, well, I would play one of Keith Urban's new songs called "Once in a Lifetime" Some Tim McGraw songs would also be pretty good, like "Memory Lane", "My Little Girl", or "It's Your Love" Maybe if you feel a little like Big and Rich, "Holy Water" would be good. Hope I helped!

Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood... no just kidding!

I can't remember who it's by, but it's called "Amazed" and they played it for the first dance at my cousin's wedding. The chorus goes... Every little thing that you do / I'm so in love with you / it just keeps getting better / I wanna spend the rest of my life / with you by my side / forever and ever / every little thing that you do / baby I'm amazed by you

i think it's perfect for the first dance.
Also, get Carrie Underwood's CD, it has amazing songs on it, and I'm sure you could find a few that would be good for a wedding.
