I feel like I'm fake and not real. Like I'm in a dream or a nightmare. What's wrong with me? I also feel slightly dizzy sometimes. I asked my mother and she said it could be anything: stress, mono, low blood pressure, diabete's (sp?) and that we'll go to the doctor soon. But I'm kinda scared and I was just wondering what everyone thought. I don't have many symptons other then the very scary feeling of being in a dream and slight dizziness. It gets worst around 3-4 pm. I feel almost normal at around midnight and when I just wake up.

I'm not on any medication at all.

I was thinking about the dissocoiating from reality, too, but I don't know. I really don't want to feel that way at all.

I haven't had any new stress added to my life, except I'm worried about school. Nothing really new.

It might be caused by stress and insomnia. If you don't get enough sleep, you should find time to sleep, take naps regularly at the times you say are the worst; 3 - 4 pm.

You may be suffering from some kind of depression. Depression is very common this time of year -- around the holidays. Get outside and get lots of fresh air. Start a hobby of something you are interested in. Get lots of exercise, sleep and good food (not the fast food type). Think positive thoughts. Try looking into the mirror every morning as you get ready for the day and say to that person in the mirror, "I'm special and I feel great!! I'm going to do very positive things all day." Keep repeating that to yourself on and off all day. I know it sure helped me. Try it!! It gets you through a lot of bad times without all the fuss.

Good luck,

a psychiatrist is not the doctor you should see. get a checkup, get tested for mono or other diseases that are viral based as the virus does pass the blood brain barrier.

sometimes the medication used for narcolepsy helps the symptom. antidepressants will only make them worse.

good luck.

this sort of happened to me before too. If I was you (even though it's hard) try to get on a more normal sleep schedule. Also, EAT A LOT! You may just be having a lack of protein or something. Go get yourself a hamburger! good luck!!!

you could open as much as somebody you have confidence and in all possibility make an appointment with your scientific expert. attempt and loosen up for a pair of days (do countless respiratory workouts, hear to a chilled podcast, meditate, etc.) and video reveal regardless of if the intensity of those indications subside. in the event that they do no longer, then incredibly evaluate seeing your GP :)

if its not a disease, then maybe you just like to dissociate from reality
do u have stress or something thats bothering u?
then ur brain might not want to deal with it so u shift into a dreamlike state
