Seems to be a great resource. Written in plain language, with perhaps a SMALL amount of brand bias (hey, who isn't at least a LITTLE BIT biased about things like that!).

There are a number of wiring diagrams for different devices on the main page!

Hope this helps!!

Hi,Rod.I have nearly the same dimensions as you have for my Home Theater (26FT.long X 14.75 FTwide.X 8 FT high.) My motorised Projection Screen is located over a window down the bottom of the room and the seating arrangement is adjacent to the screen 24 feet away. My Projector is sitting on a sturdy table a couple of feet in front of wear i sit.I will eventually mount it on the ceiling one day .It has a long throw lens and i get the best picture with the projector about 20 feet from the screen. All the equipment is in the middle of the room, down the front about 5 feet from the screen. It is sitting on four heavy wooden platforms close to the floor which are spiked . One spiked platform sitting on another spiked platform slightly higher behind the first two containing the equipment. This arrangemennt allows the equipment to be controlled with their remotes from where i sit.The spikes stop vibration from reaching the equipment which are sitting on isolation cones to further eliminate vibration. When the screen is lowered the equipment sits just below the bottom of the screen.I would not put the equipment behind where you sit as you have to keep turning around to operate it .Plus the fact if you locate your main speakers down the bottom of the room the cables will be too long and could affect the sound. My screen is 10 feet wide and the Stereo Speakers are sitting on spiked top and bottom metal stands .They are about two and a half feet from the side walls and about three feet from the screen wall .The component video cable from the DVD player to the Projector is about 16 feet long, which runs under the carpet and is suitable for long runs. All the walls have heavy curtains except the wall behind me where i sit. the curtains meet up to the ends of the screen when it is down.I have Block-Out Shutters which can open or close over the windows in the room so as to view the screen in almost total darkeness during the day.The doorway to the room is along the back wall where i sit which is handy. Hope this has been useful for you ,it certainly works in my room. Cheers.
