Last year, when I was in 7th grade, I used to eat everything in sight, and not gain a thing, I would eat like 8 bags of potato chips a day and not gain anything. Right now, I am in 8th grade, I am 76 pounds, at 5"2, last year I was 70 pounds, at 5"1. And I think I a=gained weight because in 7th grade I ate so much junk food, and I didn't gain anything, but my stomach looked very big. Now, in 8th grade, I am 76 pounds, and my stomach looks huge. Some days I get so worried about my weight, that I would go the whole day without eating, is this bad? Should I be caring about my weight?

That's exactly what happened to me too! You could be eating healthier but you don't NEED to worry about your weight since your only 76lbs. Instead of going a whole day without eating, try to only eat really healthy foods. If you want to, you could excercise too. Running a couple times a week or jumping rope everyday are good ways.

Hmm be careful or you may end up with an eating disorder. Don't pay attention to those actresses on TV, most people don't think they look good anyway.

Try this--stay away from the "junk food" that has a lot of carbohydrates and sugar. It will just make you want to eat more. Have you looked at the South Beach diet? That seems to be a popular one because you don't cut out all carbs or all fat, but you do everything balanced.

And it's ok to care about your weight, but care about your health and happiness more.

hey i felt the same thing. im 15. im 4'11 and weight 87lbs. i used to do that too. but guess what no results. dont do that eating too much junk food will make u unhealthy and gain weight but not weight only u will get a tummy. hey ur still growing. if u take care or urself more by eating well and 1 hour of exercise, ur body will do what's best for u.. if u wanna gain weight u should start eating healthier and execising.... trust me

although u really seem fine hun,I suggest eat more healthy(no 8 bags of chips, only 1-2 once in a while!), but do NOT stop eating.
and as for your stomache, well do some push ups or lie on your stomach, lifet yourself up on your toes and elbows for 30 sec. 6-10 times a day, meanwhile tighten your stomach.
this way you'll get a better stomache with some abs, you won't loose weight and you'll be healthy.
good luck

Ask the doctor because you are probably underweight for your age. Remember lots of junk food does go to your belly and is not healthy. You should make a point of eating potatoes because they are full of vitamin C and of course lots of veggies, fruits and meat/chicken for the protein. You are also young enough to still be drinking milk for your bone growth. Older teens I know at that height weigh around 100.....they look healthier and therefore prettier too. Good luck.

All you have to do is to simply drink 8-12 glasses of water a day, no to carbonated drinks, sweets, chocolates, spicy, salty and fatty food. Just eat fruits and vegetables. Try it. I lose weight from 75kilos to 62kilos in 3 months.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!!!!!!
