The dinner starts at 6pm and the DJ starts at 8pm. I need as many songs as possible to use as background dinner music. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

Whatever you decide, wether it be jazz, classical, new age, whatever you like, I would just have it be instrumental. Vocals will make it harder for people to concentrate on conversation. Congrats and good luck!

I dunno, but I would do something more on the soft side while people are eating - so they don't feel too rushed. Not neccesarily classical, but what about something like New Agey, or quiet like Nora Jones....of what about jazz???
I hope I helped a little at least.... :)
