i met this guy about 3 weeks ago and we been going out since.....he even offered me to go on vacation with him to caribbeans....he keeps on telling me that he likes me ....wants me, but !!!! apperently he had a girlfiend before me that sometimes he metions it to me....like her name, what she does now, and he wants to know aobut my ex's.....so i am kind of lost, do u i have a chance with thim....he seems to be a very romantic and easy hurt type of guy, i feel like his ex hurt him (cause apperantly she moved to another city and he didnt move with her)....do u think we have a chance or should i move on and find someone without bagage?

everyone has baggage so give it a shot but i wouldnt easily accept invitation to go on vacation with someone i'm not very familiar with.be careful.

I dont know that I would go on vacation with him so soon but he might be trying to get to know you better by opening up about his past.
Learn from the mistakes of his ex and try to be a better girlfriend then the last chick was.
He is probably asking you questions about your ex to see who broke up with whom and if there is any chance that the two of you might get back together (if he is in iraq for instance). Just be clear with him that you and your ex are OVER and that you really want to explore the possibilities with him but only if HE is sure that it is over with him and his ex.
I would not consider what you have discribed as 'baggage'. I think it is just HISTORY and what ever man you move on to will have that!

if you love him stay with him, if you have any doubts move on. If you don't want difficulty in relationships then leave him now, as if you leave him later it will hurt him again. By the way you have chances. kind of 80 %. but remember other 20. It's a lottery it depends on both of you.

Where are you going to find that person - the one without the baggage? Stick with what you got if you like. So he talks about his former relationships? So what. The topic should be informative to you about how well he will function in a long term relationship.

Oh whoa Girlfriend!!! First..how soon is this trip??? You do NOT want to be the rebound girl!! I would wait a couple of months before going on ANY trips with him. and for both of your heart's sakes..trust me on this cuz I went through something similar this past Fall....take it VERY slow!!! I think he still has feeling for his ex and is trying to make himself happier dating you. I know it feels bad to hear that but maybe he likes you and still thinks what would of happened if he went with his ex.
