The Salvation Army gathers used items and sells them at low prices to people who can't afford a lot of stuff. It isn't a religious group!
There may be a church that adopted the name.

They ARE a church as one person stated they are not, they believe in and follow Jesus

The Salvation army is not a church, it is a volunteer organization. Thier local phone number is in the book, they can slways use more volunteers.
