i have this guy promlem . . . i like them. do you think it's just a phase i'm going through? i'm 12 and i've been likeing guys since 2 months before my 11th b-day (birthday): my b-day is june. i also have this major crush on a guy 5 yr. older than me. if you have any good advice please tell me?!?!?!?!?!

There's nothing wrong with you. You're just at the age that girls start to notice and take interest in boys. That being said, you'll have the rest of your life to deal with relationships; for now, just enjoy being a kid!

Baby Girl, this is all very normal for a child your age, but keep in mind that your interest should be limited to other children your age...not the one who is 4-5 years older. If you want to date an older guy...do so after you turn 18 and can fully appreciate the age difference. Right now you have a lot of learning, living and so on to do...hold onto your youth for as long as you can because you can never go back and change the choices you make now and these choices will determine your future...Best wishes to you.

Advice about what? The fact that you like guys? I had my first girlfriend when I was in the first grade. Neither of us comprehended what was happening. We just laughed like hyenas whenever we were around each other. It drove the teacher nuts. So at the age of 12 I don't see a problem. As far as your crush on a 17 year old is concerned, that's a bad place to go. You'll move on to someone else soon enough and hopefully it will be someone closer to your own age.

First off, 5 years is 5 years too old for you. He would be 17! Its okay to look at them (they're very cute) but for now, no further than that. Its perfectly normal to like guys! I've been boy crazy for a long time and as long as you're careful, its great. But try and find a good one your age. i like to date up too, but not five years up and not when i was 12. This interest in guys is kinda a phase and when you get older, you calm down a bit. Just have fun, okay!

There's nothing wrong with liking guys. A lot of teenage girls , like yourself has had or have crushes on older guys. These are not problems. But be careful not to like them so much as to let them take advantage of you. When some guys see that a girl is very interested in the opposite, they try to use that to get what they want from you. Ask your mother or another trusted, older female for their opinion.

The risk of what could happen if you let yourself go is just TOO HIGH! You have to know that you are worth to much for any boy/man and that untill you find someone to treat you like a princess then you don't even waste you time with him. And if a guy even mentions having sex with you, get away from him!
