no theres nothing wrong with you! ofcourse your feeling this way beacuse your surrounded by people in relatinships.. but dont let that get you down.. whats the point in having a gf for the sake of it... would you not rather be in a realtionship beacuse your both attracted to each other.. its not wierd at all and if your family think this of you then their not being very supportive.. you'll find the girl you want.. and it may happen when you least expect it.. :)

Don't let it worry you. So many people don't want others to think that they're weird, so they settle for people that they don't even like. Make sure to NEVER do that. Just always be respectful and if you feel like you can't talk to a girl that you're interested in, just be confident and tell yourself you can do it. If you do that, she will repsect you and will want to get to know you better. Seriously, just focus on friends, family, activties, school, etc. right now and wait until the right girl comes along. I'm sure you're great and will have a girlfriend in no time. Have a happy New Year!!!

I have the same problem. I am 17 and never had bf or even very first kiss. I know that people find it strange but I am shy and it takes time for me to meet new people and trust them. I also started to think that something is seriously wrong with me. kids tend to grow up too fast these days. I am sure nothing is wrong with us :) !

I was the same way. Don't sweat it. When you get older you will realize that all the "relationships" your peers are having right now are pretty lame anyway. A lot of the people now who are getting a lot of dates will be married young (big mistake) or will be burn outs (If your high school is like mine was, the people who dated most also partied most). Bottom line: Be yourself and try not to waste any energy worrying about it. You're normal; probably better than normal.

Being single is such a great gift! You have time and energy to pursue your dreams. Don't worry about it. If you've ever read Song of Solomon (yes, yes, its in the BIBLE.... ohh my gosh...) it says something like "Do not awaken love until it's time has come". Just enjoy life and show the world who you are! Besides, who's highschool dating relationships really last? I mean come on, they usually end up breaking it off somewhere down the road.

Nothing's wrong with you!
(Btw, I'm also a 17 yr old who hasn't dated)

no, nothing is wrong with you in the least bit. to me, it simply means that you have come accross the right girl to ask out yet. if you are normally a shy guy and you do have your eye on a girl you want to ask out. my advice, is go for it. my suggestion is to go on a 'get to know her' date. like bowling, some place where you can talk to her. dont worry, youre normal and nothings wrong with you. =] good luck.

it is completely normal.... dont feel bad just because of what ur family may think..... when u find the right girl and u feel confident enough to ask her out, it will be the right time to get a gf, it doesnt matter how old u r....
good luck! =o)

Uh... Well it's not normal in our society. Many have girlfriend or boyfriends by junior high. But i guess it's good to wait until you found the right girl. On the other hand you might be too picky or too shy.
