Also, when you sleep at night and have the hairband on, when you wake up the next morning, will your hair smell bad because of the oils. And do oils spread more faster when your hair IS in a hairband?

if you wear your hair up in the same place alot then your hair will eventually break. but if you wear your hair up alot, then wear it in a different place. i dont think wearing your hair in a hairband makes it more greasy at all, you can just see the oil better when its up.

If you do it excessively it breaks the hair at the root in the front (the hairline) from constantly being pulled back. It happens when you wear a pony tail too much too - trust me I know I do it all the time and then when I see the little whispy broken short hairs at the hairline I get mad at myself for being so lazy and not doing my hair!

No, it dosent damage it but it thins it out if its up all the time. Also, your forehead will seem to get bigger, its not just the pulling of the hair back will make your hairline higher and higher. Just try to do a variation of styles not just a bun or ponytail.

i heard that it is if you like sleep with it in or have a ponytail in your hair all of the time. I guess it breaks the hair by your forhead.....
